Abstract

Automotive Industry require many materials which are directly or indirectly involved with the product within its production activity. Suppliers’ assistance is needed in order to fulfill the material needed. Supplier selection is an important process for the company in order to achieve optimum production dan therefore can compete with other company. PT XYZ is one among many automotive company in Indonesia. To get the material needed supplier selection process is held. This research is held using the Analytic Network Process (ANP), one decision-making method with many related criteria. This problem is represented in a system with dependence dan feedback. The relations included in ANP method are relations within a set of element (node comparison) and relation between elements (cluster comparison). The result of ANP method is the weight priority value for all of the elements within the decision-making system. The result of the research shows criteria used in supplier selection in PT XYZ are Safety, Quality, Precision, Service, Supplier Ability, and Price, by order.
