Abstract

VANET is a wireless technology that is a derivative of MANET. VANET used for inter-vehicle communication, including vehicle to vehicle (V2V)and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I)communication. This study aimed to compare the performance ofrouting protocols, which is AODV, AOMDV, and OLSR in VANET. Tests conducted by a simulation using the application NS-2 and SUMO by measuring parameter delay, throughput, and Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR). Scenarios used in this study are differentiated by the number of nodes,those are 65, 91, and 117.
