Abstract
The existence of Private Military and Security Companies (PMSC) in conflict zones has become a debatable topic and is the subject of ongoing discussions. Wagner Group, a Private Military and Security Company that originated in Russia, has become the center of discussion due to its involvement in many conflict zones. This research is aimed at analyzing the impact of the existence of the Wagner Group in the conflict zone and finding out whether or not its existence capable to create security. In order to do this, I will analyze the continuity of the Wagner Group operation in the conflict zone by using the study case of Mali. Wagner Group has been operating in Mali. Hence, I will also analyze its ability to provide security and stability, as well as its impact on the situation stability and security. In this research, I will use the descriptive qualitative methodology by gaining data through document-based research and internet-based research. The issue in this research will be analyzed by using principal-agent theory
