Abstract
ABSTRACT Stock split is a kind of corporate action implemented by companies in order to making the stock trading to be more liquid by splitting the number of shares to reduce the nominal value per share. This research aimed to analyze the differences in stock prices, bid-ask spread, stock liquidity, abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the stock split. The result showed a significant difference between bid-ask spread, stock liquidity, and trading volume activity before and after stock split, but no significant difference from stock prices and abnormal returns before and after the stock split.
