Abstract

This research explores the reception of the meaning of the film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini using Stuart Hall's theory. The research method uses Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving members who are related by blood (biology) and uses Tringulator as a view of the conflict at the reception of the film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini. A qualitative descriptive approach is used in this writing. The object of this research is the family members of brothers and sisters who are related by one blood (biological) and dominate with 3 different families. This research uses Stuart Hall's reception analysis technique with the operational variable concept of Family Conflict. The results of this analytical research through Focus Group Discussion. Research using three families who are related by blood and play a role in the film shows that the three families show Negotiated Reading. So that we can identify family positions and conflicts in the reception of the film Later We Tell About Today with a view that the condition of each family in the film influences the resolution of different conflicts, reflecting the complexity of the relationships and family dynamics faced.
