Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of e-learning through Zoom on the performance of Key Position Employees (KPE) at PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Units in South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi. The adoption of e-learning increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic as an alternative to conventional face-to-face training. This study highlights the effectiveness of e-learning in enhancing the competence and performance of employees in the distribution and commercial sectors, which are core business processes at PLN. The research method utilizes primary data obtained through an online questionnaire distributed to selected KPE employees using purposive sampling. The questionnaire was designed with a 6-point Likert scale to measure respondents' perceptions of the implementation of e-learning and its impact on their performance. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to assess the influence of the independent variable (e-learning implementation) on the dependent variable (employee performance). The results indicate that e-learning training via Zoom has a positive and significant impact on increasing employee productivity and efficiency. The findings suggest that e-learning is an effective training method for developing employee competencies at PT PLN (Persero). E-learning provides greater flexibility in learning, reduces costs associated with conventional training, and allows training materials to be tailored to the specific needs of employees and the company. Therefore, e-learning can be an integral part of human resource development strategies at PT PLN (Persero) to improve overall organizational performance
