Abstract

This study aims to develop a method for analysing the condition of railway tracks using the Track Quality Index (TQI), which can be applied to deepen understanding of the factors that influence railway infrastructure. The results of this study can provide specific data-based recommendations for improving railway track repairs and maintenance, which can increase operational efficiency and reduce long-term maintenance costs for the Jabodebek LRT. The data used are measurement data from Service Section 1 Track 2 KM 5+200 – -0+076 on 22 April 2024, 21 August 2024, and 10 November 2024. The data was analysed using multiple linear regression to test the proportion of each parameter determining the Track Quality Index (TQI), namely alignment, gauge, cant and top on the total Track Quality Index (TQI) value of the railway track. while the relationship between train travel frequency, curve radius, and track elevation (longitudinal elevation) affecting the Track Quality Index (TQI) of railway tracks was analysed using the correlation method. The results of the study indicate that each parameter influences the Track Quality Index (TQI) value, with aligment being the most influential parameter. Meanwhile, the analysis of the increase in daily LRT Jabodebek travel frequency as a non-physical aspect influences but does not significantly increase the TQI value. For the physical aspect (design), radius has a greater influence on increasing the TQI value compared to elevation, but neither significantly increases the TQI value.
