Abstract
Fans and idols are two interrelated concepts that cannot be separated. In this digital era, with the rapid development of social media, fans can help their idols achieve success by creating social media content that simultaneously builds an attachment between fans and idols. One form of content created by fans is Kamaniya’s Diary. Kamaniya’s Diary has created a dedicated account on X with the username @kamaniya_diary, which is dedicated to capturing moments of a JKT48 member named Greesella Sophina Adhalia. This study aims to examine the fanaticism of the @kamaniya_diary fansite in creating brand attachment between fans and idols through social media content. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. Research data was obtained through interviews with informants and observations as primary data, as well as documentation from informants, articles, previous research, and relevant content as secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the fanaticism possessed by the Kamaniya’s Diary fansite is positive fanaticism. Moreover, the content produced by Kamaniya’s Diary can benefit the idol and build a normal brand attachment between fans and idols. The strength of this bond can still be influenced by internal factors and the individual preferences of each fan.
