Abstract
This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the leverage ratio, profitability ratio, market ratio, and liquidity ratio on financial distress in the Software & IT Services sub-industry. This research is classified into quantitative research using the binary logistic regression analysis method by examining what factors can affect financial distress in companies with the software & IT services sub-industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is done by conducting hypothesis testing to determine the effect of independent variables consisting of leverage ratios, profitability ratios, market ratios, and liquidity ratios, on the dependent variable, namely financial distress. The data used in this study is secondary where the information used is already available and obtained indirectly. The secondary data used in this study are financial ratio reports and annual reports for the 2021-2023 period. Information is obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website and companies with the software & IT services sub-industry. Supporting data for the leverage ratio variable, profitability ratio, market ratio, and liquidity ratio are literature reports and reviews obtained from books, journals, news articles, and electronic publications. The findings of this study Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has no positive and insignificant effect on financial distress. Return On Equity (ROE) has no positive and insignificant effect on financial distress. Price Earning Ratio (PER) has a positive and significant effect on financial distress. Quick Ratio has no positive and insignificant effect on financial distress.
