PrefaceEnglish for Academic Purposes 1 is written for students whose aim is to improvetheirEnglish. It is an introduction to English for Academic Purposes (EAP). It offers the topics,themes and language styles students find and use at the University.Each unit has a different topic. The topics were chosen to include the situations whichstudents experience.
