Abstract
This study based on problems that happened in PT XYZ (PT XYZ), as research object. The problems are barriers to communication in organizational factors specialization of tasks and lacks of job satisfaction. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect among these variables (communication and job satisfaction) on organizational effectiveness. The population in this study is almost all employees in PT XYZ by using sample in 52 respondents. Data used in this study are primary data in form of respondent’s responses on research variables, collected by questionnaire. To test the relationship among research variables, the author uses multiple linier regression analysis. The usage of multiple regression analysis is aimed to test the relationship and direction among communication and job satisfaction (independent variables) and organizational effectiveness (dependent variable), by partial or simultaneous. Analysis techniques are used with SPSS software. The results show that communication and job satisfaction have positive and significant relationship to organizational effectiveness. Data processing result also shows that among the two variables, job satisfaction is dominant variable compared with communication to improve organizational effectiveness.
