Abstract
The use of Instagram social media is growing very significantly and has a considerable impact on business people, one of which is the local shoe brand PVN Shoes which utilizes Instagram as a marketing tool through published content. Content marketing strategy is the key to success in every content distributed to build awareness levels through Instagram on the PVN Shoes brand in a wide audience. This study aims to determine the content marketing strategy of PVN Shoes in building brand awareness through Instagram. This research is a qualitative research with a case study method that uses data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research was studied using the content marketing theory coined by McPheat (2011) and the brand awareness theory coined by Aaker (2011). The results of this study indicate that utilizing Instagram social media by using the right strategy in the four dimensions of content marketing has been done quite well, and with the right strategy can increase Instagram followers of @pvnshoes so they can reach the next level of brand awareness, namely brand recall.
