Abstract

In this day and age, almost all activities apply information technology because it can make work easier and expand communication between individuals and groups. Likewise, the agricultural sector has an important role for the people of Empat Lawang, South Sumatra, where the majority of the population makes their living as farmers. This research aims to analyze and design an agricultural application called Bumi4L, this application is designed to make it easier for Empat Lawang farmers to offer agricultural products at affordable prices. This research uses the Throw-Away Prototyping method which has several stages including planning, analysis and design. The results of this research indicate that there is a mobile application design that can connect farmers and consumers in the distribution of Empat Lawang agricultural products. Researchers hope that this research can make a contribution to Empat Lawang Regency and become a reference for developing similar applications in the futur.
