Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Investor Relations (IR) yang dijalankan oleh PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk sebagai bank syariah pertama di Indonesia. Fokus penelitian ini mencakup bagaimana prinsip-prinsip syariah dan budaya organisasi diinternalisasi dalam setiap aktivitas Investor Relations dan bagaimana strategi Investor Relations direncanakan dan diimplementasikan, baik melalui komunikasi finansial maupun non-finansial. Sebagai pelopor perbankan syariah, PT Bank Muamalat memiliki tantangan dalam memenuhi ekspektasi investor yang tidak hanya menuntut keuntungan finansial, tetapi juga kepatuhan terhadap nilai-nilai etika dan syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajer dan staf IR, HRD, serta investor, dilengkapi observasi aktivitas Investor Relations dan analisis dokumen Laporan Tahunan 2024. Penelitian ini juga memanfaatkan teori strategi budaya organisasi Wahyudin (2022), Investor Relations dari Investor Relations Handbook: Fundamentals, Instruments, Practice oleh SIX Swiss Exchange dan Teori Enterprise Syariah oleh Meutia (2010) untuk memperkaya analisis dalam konteks komunikasi non-finansial dan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk berhasil membangun strategi Investor Relations yang terintegrasi, mengedepankan transparansi, akuntabilitas, serta kepercayaan berbasis prinsip syariah. Strategi ini terbukti mendukung upaya perusahaan dalam mempertahankan reputasi dan memperkuat hubungan jangka panjang dengan para investor. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi praktis bagi industri perbankan syariah lainnya dan memperluas kontribusi kajian Investor Relations di Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the Investor Relations (IR) strategy implemented by PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk as the first Islamic bank in Indonesia. The research focus includes how Sharia principles and organizational culture are internalized in every Investor Relations activity, and how the Investor Relations strategy is planned and implemented, both through financial and non-financial communication. As a pioneer in Islamic banking, PT Bank Muamalat faces challenges in meeting investor expectations that demand not only financial returns but also adherence to ethical and Sharia values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with IR managers and staff, HR managers, and investors, complemented by observation of Investor Relations activities and analysis of the 2024 Annual Report document. The research also utilizes Wahyudin's (2022) organizational culture strategy theory, Investor Relations concepts from the Investor Relations Handbook: Fundamentals, Instruments, Practice by SIX Swiss Exchange, and Meutia's (2010) Sharia Enterprise Theory to enrich the analysis in the context of non-financial communication and corporate social responsibility. The results show that PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk has successfully built an integrated Investor Relations strategy, prioritizing transparency, accountability, and trust based on Sharia principles. This strategy has proven to support the company's efforts in maintaining its reputation and strengthening long-term relationships with investors. These findings are expected to serve as a practical reference for other Islamic banking institutions and expand the contribution of Investor Relations studies in Indonesia.
