Abstract
The phenomenon of financial distress and mixed results from previous studies regarding the effect of leverage, operating capacity, sales growth, and operating cash flow on financial distress in infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange encouraged the researcher to conduct this study. This research aims to examine the effect of leverage, operating capacity, sales growth, and operating cash flow on financial distress. The population of this study consists of 268 observations of infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2025. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample, resulting in a sample of 216 observations. The data analysis method used in this study was logistic regression analysis using EViews 14 software. The results show that leverage has a positive effect on financial distress, while operating capacity has a negative effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, the variables sales growth and operating cash flow have no effect on financial distress.
