Abstract
Human Resource Management practices include analysing and designing jobs, determining human resource needs (HR planning), attracting potential employees (recruiting), selecting employees (selection), teaching employees how to do their jobs and preparing them for the future (training and development), rewarding employees (compensation), evaluating performance (performance management), and create a positive employee relations environment (Noe et al., 2006). The phenomenon that occurred at PT. XYZ cannot be separated from the connection with problems related to the MSDM strategy in employee recruitment and the career planning strategy at PT. XYZ. In this study, the company to be analysed is PT XYZ. PT XYZ is a medical device industry company in the country, The author conducted research using qualitative methods by conducting observations and interviews with informants so that the researcher could clearly explain how the recruitment strategy and employee development strategy at PT. XYZ. Based on the analysis conducted by the researcher, it is known that there are processes and procedures about the stages in the recruitment and career development strategy carried out by the company.
