Abstract
The phenomena of globalization and advances in information technology have given rise to new forms of interaction between the public and media figures, particularly in popular culture such as Kpop. One phenomenon that has attracted attention is the emotional and psychological relationship between fans and Kpop idols, which is parasocial or imagined intimacy ess in nature. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of imagined intimacy between the Treasure Maker (Teume) fandom and the Kpop idol group Treasure. The approach used in this study is a qualitative method, the phenomenological approach and parasocial interaction theory, which allows for an in-depth exploration of fans' subjective experiences. The results of the study show that Teume's emotional and psychological involvement is formed through intensive online and offline interactions, such as consuming digital content, participating in concerts, fan meetings, and creative activities on social media. This closeness creates a one-way relationship that is felt very real by fans, supported by easy digital access and the role of the fandom community as a space for collective identity. This study highlights the importance of understanding the dynamics of parasocial interaction and the influence of media in shaping emotional relationships within global culture.
