Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of cooperation between Hyundai and PT PLN (Persero) in accelerating Indonesia’s electric vehicle ecosystem during the 2019–2024 period. The research focuses on the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, particularly Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) and Home Charging Services (HCS), as well as Hyundai’s electric vehicle assembly and production in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative case study approach using secondary data. The findings indicate that the Hyundai–PLN cooperation contributes positively to the acceleration of the electric vehicle ecosystem and supports Indonesia’s national energy transition, although challenges remain in infrastructure development, cost, and policy support.
