Abstract

Digital transformation in library services requires accessible information and a good user experience. iBI Library is a digital library service provided by Bank Indonesia to support economic, financial, and general knowledge literacy. This study aims to analyze the user experience of iBI Library based on the six dimensions of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and identify aspects requiring improvement. This evaluative study used a descriptive quantitative approach and purposive sampling. Of 90 complete responses, 83 were analyzed after checking for duplicates and compliance with application-use criteria. The instrument was an adaptation of 26 UEQ items. Data analysis included score transformation, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach’s Alpha, ceiling effect, and descriptive analysis of open-ended responses. The results showed that all dimensions had mean scores above +0.8 on the UEQ scale from −3 to +3 and were categorized as positive. Dependability had the highest mean score at 2.136, whilePerspicuityhad the lowest at 1.870 but remained positive. Cronbach’s Alpha ranged from 0.927 to 0.951, indicating very high internal consistency, but was not used as evidence of instrument validity. A ceiling effect was found across all dimensions, ranging from 25.3% to 34.9%. Open-ended responses indicated improvement needs in collections, search and navigation, performance and stability, features, queues, and notifications.
