Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of having accurate and systematic alumni data as a basis for evaluating the quality of education in the Industrial Engineering Program at Bakrie University. Based on observations, the tracer study process previously conducted was still manual and unstructured, resulting in low alumni response rates, difficulties in data management, and delays in the reporting process required for accreditation and curriculum development. The objective of this study is to develop an Odoo-based alumni tracer study system capable of providing centralized alumni data management, offering easily accessible online questionnaire features, and supporting efficient reporting processes. The development methodology employed follows the implementation stages of an Odoo-based system, including requirements analysis, system design, module configuration and customization, as well as testing and deployment. The result of this research is a tracer study system that integrates key features— namely, an online alumni questionnaire and centralized alumni data management—into a single platform. The results of the evaluation through a user satisfaction questionnaire indicate that the developed system has met user needs and is capable of improving the overall efficiency of the tracer study process. The implementation of this Odoo-based system has proven to provide a structured and sustainable solution in supporting academic decision-making, meeting accreditation standards, and enhancing the quality of the relationship between the institution and its alumni.
