Abstract
Superflat floor construction requires a high level of execution accuracy, which may potentially result in concrete material waste. This study aims to analyze the volume of concrete waste, identify the dominant contributing factors, and analyze the implementation of Lean Construction in the superflat slab work of the Cakung Smart Warehouse Project, East Jakarta. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach through observations, documentation, delivery tickets, actual work volumes, and questionnaires involving 50 respondents. The analysis utilized the 7 Wastes of Lean Construction, validity and reliability tests, and the Mean Index. The results showed that concrete material waste amounted to 11 m³ or 5.1% of the total ordered concrete volume. The most dominant contributing factor was defect, with a Mean Index value of 0.880, primarily caused by rework due to casting results that did not meet specifications. Expert validation showed that six Lean Construction principles had been implemented, namely Increased Visualization, Daily Huddle Meeting, Standardization, Quality Control, Material Control, and Continuous Improvement, with Quality Control identified as the principle playing the most significant role in reducing concrete waste.
