Abstract

This study examines the influence of financial literacy and QRIS usage on the consumptive lifestyle of Generation Z in Jakarta. Using a quantitative method with a survey of 116 respondents aged 18–24 years, domiciled in Jakarta, and active QRIS users, data were analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that financial literacy has a negative and significant effect on the consumptive lifestyle, implying that higher financial literacy reduces the tendency toward consumptive behavior. Conversely, QRIS usage shows a positive and significant effect, suggesting that more frequent use increases consumptive tendencies. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect the consumptive lifestyle, explaining 76.7% of the variance, while the remaining 23.3% is influenced by other factors beyond the research model.
