Abstract
Amidst the environmental and trust crises fueled by greenwashing in the fashion industry, local brands like Ragam Bentala offer an alternative sustainability model rooted in authenticity. This research aims to (1) analyze Ragam Bentala's holistic operational model; (2) identify its divergence from conventional Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) by positioning culture as its core; (3) analyze its consumer mobilization strategies; and (4) identify its enabling factors and strategic dilemmas. Using a qualitative case study method, primary data from in-depth interviews with four key informants were analyzed thematically. The findings show that Ragam Bentala implements a "Value Ecosystem" model centered on philosophy rather than technical efficiency. Its core practices include ethical partnerships based on social capital, production that upholds a "human rhythm" and cultural preservation, and consumer mobilization through education to create emotional durability. Furthermore, strategic dilemmas were identified concerning pricing versus market accessibility and the lack of a formalized end-of-life management system. Theoretically, this model enriches the SSCM framework by proposing cultural sustainability as a central, often-overlooked pillar. Practically, this study proposes the "Value Ecosystem" as an alternative framework for SMEs to build resilience and authenticity in the modern era.
